im of black, white, hispanic and native american descent. i dont think much about race (bcuz im so mixed up) but when i do i consider myself black more than anything, i voted caribbean.

How could you trace your ancestors via Haiti when millions of ****** from 100s of different ethnicities were mixed together?
that would be virtually impossible.
First of the salves were stripped of their culture and got slave names.
Are you tracing from a European ancestor?
Even tracing it back to a city in ancient Greece is far fetched.

papa blanka. (white daddy) as he is affectionately called in my family

the first thrasybule to emigrate to Haiti during the french revelation (hiding out heh heh).
he married a black women there.

he married her and she wasn't a slave so he's family.

my family in the u.s. and in Haiti are light skinned but black.

but one of "papa blankas" grand kids became a doctor in Canada and married a white woman. so all my family there is white.

my facebook is full of white family members and we are all related but not through slavery.
