I want to gain 20lbs by christmas

This gives me approx 10 weeks, so 2lb a week.

It doesn't need to be 100% lean weight but i don't want just 20lbs of fat, is this an achievable goal and if so how would you reccomend i go about achieving it?

I can gain 20Lbs between Christmas and New Year!!! Ha ha

      You've got ages................

In all seriousness, if you want to do it healthily and with muscle mass rather than fat you will need to incorporate a full body weights schedule focussing on heavier weights and lower reps (4-6 reps per exercise, where the sixth rep is pretty much the last rep of the weight that you could lift.....at least 3 sets of each exercise too).

I'd recommend 4 solid gym sessions a week lasting 40 mins - 60 mins. The other days of the week would be recovery days.

You'll need to exceed the 1 gram of protein per every Kg of body weight daily (and with regular eating throughout the day, rather than eating scarcely all day and then having a monster evening meal).

And you'll achieve your goals more quickly if you dont do much cardio exercise.
