  • weight gain while on sugar/yeast free diet?

    Hi

I have a stomach problem that means i cant eat much sugar or yeast products. Its a problem that comes and goes and at the moment i have to reduce the ammount of sugar and eat little yeast (i can have a little of each but not much). When i have this problem i struggle to keep weight on, i do light training five times a week.

Currently i am drinking 2 protein shakes a day and while my arms have grown in size and my muscle is cut my face looks really drained where i cant eat sugar or yeast products. I tried a pasta bake and i felt really ill. Are there any products out there that can increase my fat levels a bit? most weight gains seem to have tons of sugar in them.

You have an interesting problem there. Do you have like diabetes or something? I'm just asking, if not, then my bad, i'm not trying to be funny or anything.

Anyways, try potatoes and foods with starch. That typically can cause weight gain. Try wheat pasta as well. Also, can't go wrong with peanuts and peanut butter, that has oils and fats in them as well but the healthy kind.

Your problem is intriguing to me but I don't really know much on how to help you. So hopefully what I did contribute can help out.

Maybe something like this can help you. It's a sugar free weight gainer. That site can help you a lot in general as well.

Well its kinda intresting in a way. For a few years i had this horrible head pains and clouded vision after eating anything with sugar it got to the stage where if i would eat anything with sugar in it i would have massive hot flushes and sweat like mad and need to go to bed.

The doctors didnt know what it was. I looked online on a few med websites and they said i could have to much yeast in my stomach so i cut out all sugar and yeast for a few months and the problem went away and i felt really good although i looked underweight tbh. I have increased my sweet foods a bit like a small cake and choclate bar a day and have drunk a little bit of cider on the weekends i look good again but after a few months i have started getting ill again. I really need to get to the doctors and force them to do tests on me but they didnt want to last time i was there.

Think i will try eating more potatoes like you say.
