  • Sick right after starting training

I've made two attempts lately to get back into Muay Thai training added BJJ, but have not done it back to back yet. The problem is everytime, I tried to go to Muay Thai class, I'd be sick in a day or two with flu like symptoms after class. I take a week or two off to recover, and try to get back again, got sick after two days of training.

I don't lift, I get 7.5hr sleep a night. My diet is average, but its not unhealthy, typical Chinese diet, rice, chicken, beef, fish (sometimes), noodles, vegetables. Once in a while I have some fried food.

Anyone suffering this? Its annoying the hell out of me.

You're probably dehydrating, not only should you maintain hydrated during training, but through out the day you should be drinking about a gallon of water a day, every day..

I'll give this some attention tomorrow.

I was also reading up on the Herx reaction, I hope this is what I have at the moment for now.
