  • How Many Push Up's Can You Do Staright Off?

    ?????????????????????

My prime I hit 80+. Consistently, 60+. Now, 40+. Getting old sucks.

All them were done with a time limit of 2 minutes.

    I've seen people do 110 push-ups in 2 minutes.

    Impressive.

most ive done was 75 (not cheating down to a little lower than 90 degrees and all the way up. all in one set)

      then my back spasmed

if i was in better shape and really lean i think i could do maybe 80 or 90

I don't do pushups regularly because my thing is lifting weights and the most I've ever done was actually a couple of weeks ago...75 going all the way down. I'm 56 years old and still going strong...no aches or pains and more or less as strong as ever.

Most i can do in a quick smooth rhythm is about 50. most I've ****** out in one go though was 112. But that was only because my section Corporal (at the time) was growling over me!
I normally now just do between 5-10 reps of 30 a day, depends what I got on.

You sound like my old man. He is 56 and a marathon runner and a rower. Ripped to ****, still the fittest man I know.

Can hit 120 in my rested best. Charles Bronson (the English criminal, not the actor) is the man you need to research re Press-ups. He can do 172 in a minutes!
