I give big respect to anybody that helps anybody or everybody You should never put yourself before other people especially if other people are humble and help you

At home I am a nice guy, but I don't want the world to know. Humble people, I've found, don't go very far.

I respect guys who help you out in the gym. Even if you don't know something, They don't look at you like "oh man i have to deal with him", but more of a helpful way.

I have guys in my gym who don't even want to work with "newer" guys because they think it will weaken their skills. SAD. and SELFISH.

It is not sad and it is not selfish, it's all about keeping your eyes sharp and your timing precise. In there with new guys all you can do is work a jab against an opponent that just doesn't know yet. And the randomness and akwardness of their moves and shots is not at the level, or better yet not at the timimg of your level of fighting. Especially if there is a fight close you just don't need it.

Say a pro does nothing but work with new guys for 1 month during the last month of training for a fight. When he steps into the ring for a bout against another pro his timing will be off and his eyes will be slow.

A person who has never attained a level of certain professionalism could never understand..........Rockin'

When everybody else looks like they're about to cry, and you have that one guy who looks like he can do another 20 rounds.

yea ok, but that's just a training session you missed out on. that's kind of selfish, sure, not every workout session. or help the guy before or after the workout and tell him that you wanna train hard today, so you're gonna go train with that guy, but i'll help you afterwards.

I understand if training to fight .You wouldn't want to waste your time on a novice especiallly if your time is limited to work on your own boxing skill .That's what trainers are for but in my gym alot just go and do some training .We also work on technique on non sparring days .

                    From a trainers perspective...

                    Show up everyday

                    Don't complain, b1tch or whine

                    Have ***in heart

                    Give 100%

                    Be respectful and helpful

In my gym, I have a family atmosphere. After spar, we hug, touch gloves. After workouts we line up and touch gloves, the whole class. We look out for each other in every way and when we go to other gyms to spar, it shows in how the kids support each other.

as the other thread was about negatives - this about respect - but could also categorize it as positive, im gonna mention hot babes with well trained asses. One second you´re close to death and cant breathe, the next you´re looking at some fine ass and the pain mementarily goes away.

Of course not while sparring, butduring other exercises, where a small glimpse goes a long way.
