Increasing Stamina. What am I doing wrong??

    Wow. Thanks guys. I want to try and spar with people my size, but there is nobody my size unless they're 16 years old or something.

      What LaMotta used to do

      LaMotta had great stamina and he used to spar four minute rounds with only 30 seconds rest inbetween He would sometimes go nine rounds like that. And he did not do a lot of running.

        james toney used to do 10 rounds of sparring 6 days a week, but we cant all be james toney or jake lamotta my man

          this is what i do i warm up hit the punch bag for 2 min non stop for 5 rounds then i move around the bag throwing single punches for 3 rounds the i go for a run after that i punch with weights for 3 rounds then i do a circuit i do all that at home then in the gym i do pads sparring and it works

            Also i would like to add that check to make sure you aren't getting stuck in your workouts, meaning you may be running 5 times a week but have you increased the amount of running your doing?

            just a small example : say if someone was new at the sport and they could only do 3 miles and a few sprints .... months later they shouldnt still be on that....they would have needed step it up more by then

            so you may actually be working hard, but working on the same exact things and probably confused on why your not stamina isn't improving...

            it's probably just time to increase your workload and may not know it.
