Whats the rest of your diet like?

No point supplementing with whey if you haven't already nailed the basics of consuming protein from eggs and meat.

the best source is fish. its really high quality, low fat, low calorie. having a good base diet is paramount. the only real use of whey protein should be pre / post workout because it its the quickest to be used by the body. as for which protein, they all do the same thing, repair muscle, so there is no difference between 'boxing protein' and 'weightlifting protein'. there is however a difference between quality. ive heard great things about this:

Protein is Protein. Although a weight class athlete should probably find the one that is lowest in carbs and calories.

I like this protein powder the most,

It's a blend of 6 proteins with different rates of digestion + BCAA's, Glutamine, tastes really good too (and they have mint choc chip ice cream flavour!):

If ur a boxer who is trying to stay lean and within a weight limit then id reccommend PHD Diet Whey, great taste, less calories and has Green Tea Extract to assist in fat loss while the Whey builds muscle
