What I saw was someone trying to be flashy with his punches, and too eager to show off, it seemed more like he was slappin' and arm punchin' for the most part. I'd like to see more torque on his hips and pivoting on the balls of his feet, basically sit down on his punches.
He also telegraphs his right straight. His elbow lifting up to the side is the first thing you see before he fires off with that straight. He sorta does the same with the jab.
But, he has some fluidity and simply needs to work on punching technique.
I didn't see where he was going with his movement around the bag, its like he was just moving around for the sake of moving around. There's gotta be a purpose for why you're moving around your opponent, in this case the bag.Last edited by King of Sting; 12-26-2011, 05:30 PM.

I have actually been injured recently and haven't trained for a few months, going to get back to the club after new year but thanks for the tips and the right hand is an elbow raising punch you're right its sort of the way katsidis throws it,I'm going to work on a more straight right like Bernard Hopkins and the chin tucked way in
