How much do you run?

    I can't see how anyone has time to run as much as a lot of people in this thread claim.

    I barely manage to get 2-3 runs in a week, all 3 miles.

    I spar 4-8rds a week, along with 1 day of just being at the gym working out.

    At my peak of working out, I ran 4 times a week 3 miles a day plus intervals. Plus 6-12rds of sparring a weak and 2 other days at the gym just working out.

    Worked part time then though...

    I miss working part time

    I work full time 9-5 and get up to 40 miles running in a week plus 2 days of weights/boxing training in too.

    Its not difficult. 2 Longer runs 9-12 miles (Tuesday after work before tea and Saturday afternoon). Plus speed work 3-5 miles at least the other three days ( 1/4, 1/2 or mile reps ). The rest is made up on occassion with runs to and from work on dry sunny mornings (3.4 mile trip there and back).

    It just takes some life planning and elbow grease......

        lol like twice a month, after cross country i kind of got burnt out, i like doing rounds on the heavy bag more

          Well running is a key factor for all the sportsman and it plays a vital role in every body's life. I am also a sportsman and i usually play football and cricket and i can run 3 km per day easily.

              i've been running abuot 5 miles 2x per week in the am, and I run one 4 mile run later in the day and I do a sprint day...that's what I'm aiming for, sometimes I get more, sometimes less. I run outside so i can't run as far once it gets into the 90s+ as I can at 6:20 when its only 85....

              i still cant lose all the weight I want, but Im in pretty good shape...
