Forearm pain

  • Forearm pain

    Been having this shin splint type of forearm pain while working out for the past week now. It been occuring when i do pulling movements. Especially when i do any time of bicep curl i get a stinging pain in my middle forearm area that stays for a couple seconds after i let the weight go then it goes away. its never really happened before and ive been lifting for a long while now. i know its not from a sudden rise is weight cuz im keeping the weight to a normal. really starting to annoy me. any ideas of what it could be?
    Bicep curls and pull ups are ones i feel it alot in.

        I fought for about 14 years and never experienced or heard of an injury like that. If your lifting weights you might want to let the muscle rest and let it rebuild before putting any strain on it. I would also recommend putting heat on it through the day a couple of times. You took my masterbation joke well, props to you man. I'm just in a goofy mood tonight hanging out with Mr. Nice............Rockin'

          lol yeah. i was thinking that i just need to ease off of the workouts on that area for a bit. but yesterday as an experiment when i felt that sharp pain, i grabbed a barbell and started doin some forearm exercises. i felt virtually no pain at all during the exercise and no pain during the release either it was kind of odd. I can do forearm exercises with no strain but if i try to do bicep curls my forearm will sting.

            That's so weird man I've been getting the same thing lately. I've been doin a lot more press ups thani used to so I put it down to that with me. It's weird I'll just be sat there and I'll get this sudden sharpish achy sort of pain in my forearm for a few seconds then it goes.

              oddly enough I have a pain similar to that from sparring.
