    D3O Headgear

    Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has tried the D3O Intellishock headgear from rival boxing and can compare it to other headgears out there. It seems to me that any headgear that uses D3O technology has at least the potential to be the best headgear hands down.

Rival is actually very good - not like Everlast at all. I'm sure they add the graphics and name all the trivial technology in order to market the products and sell them, but everything they produce is very well-made. Everlast is sold in sporting goods stores, which Rival is not. (I use that as an indicator of quality - if it's sold at a local sporting goods store, it isn't quality equipment).

The everlast stuff you find at walmart or sporting goods stores is mostly junk and will fall apart with any serious use. Their more expensive stuff is good quality.

Haven't heard any specifics about this headgear but it's still pretty new so not many people have bought it yet. Rivals other products are quality though so I wouldn't expect this to be any different.
