Protein powder is one of the cheapest ways. Most work out at abot £1 per 50G of protein, less than meat.

      eggs
      oatmeal
      tuna from a can
bacon (3 to 5 bucks an lb if you can get a good deal on some quality stuff)
      milk

and all the water you can fit in your stomach

gained 45 lbs in two years or so in college eating that type of grub (and drinking some beer additionally)
working out with the weights 6 days a week
running every day i was feeling up to it
and taking creatine and nitric oxide for recovery and blood flow

the food is most important for gaining weight

followed by the nature of your workouts

Eggs and chicken are the cheapest sources. 1 18 oz chicken breast can be cut into 3 6oz servings, each serving is packed with protein.

I wouldn't waste money on protein powders, it's too expensive for the amount of protein you get. I don't think you can beat eggs and chicken.

Dude, all the natural stuffs are great, eggs, oatmeal tuna from a can, bacon,milk(2% fat), chicken breast but if you are looking some thing extra I can recommend you NitroTech Hardcore Pro Series 4lb from bodybuilding.com or massnutrition.com, it cost from $44 to $50, this powder really work, but actually all depends what you want, if you are looking for a protein to supplement you regular diet Nitro Tech can help you out alot, but if you are looking for gain some weight there is a very nice powder that can help you out to gain weight is true mass from BSN.

              Hi,,,
In my view the most good way to gain the desire amount of weight is by natural foods like
              egg
              milk
              meat
              They are rich in protein.
If you want you use protein Whey is the cheapest and most widely used protein.
