  • Supplements to take before weightlifting

    Hi,

I am basically wondering they ye have any advice on any supplements to take before going to the gym to lift weights.

I feel menatlly drained after work and find it hard to push through my full weight programme. On the otherhand I have no problem in doing by running/bag work as I enjoy both. As i said its more a mental than physical fatigue.

Basically im looking for advise on what to take before weight training. I have tried creatine/protein but i feel full and sluggish after both before a weights workout.

    Any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

There are pre workout drinks you can buy, normally containing CEE, AAKG, Taurine, Tyrosine and Caffeine.

you could look at a preworkout supplement like no-xplode but honestly i cant imagine any of those are to good for you. ive taken them and they do give you a boost but when you dont know what 80 of the 100 ingredients are it cant be good for you. if i were you id make sure your getting 8 hours sleep and proper nutrition. i like to eat oatmeal and fruit about and hr before, something light with carbs. id say try coffee or a preworkout supplement on days your drained(unless your sensitive to caffeine) but dont rely on them. it takes discipline to get 8 hrs sleep and eat well but once you get in great shape it will be easier.

I've tried close to everything. Came down to 100% Whey protein with a shot of water. Slam it and go lift, then do the same after.

As a personal recommendation you should try the Fight Stack from BSN, NO XPLODE(this is a pre-workout supplement, it will give you energy and concentration and it will help you alot with the endurance), CELLMASS(it will help you with the recovery, more than 6 different proteins AM/PM), NITRIX(2 words for this POWER & SIZE), and there is another product that I can not remember the name but it is a testosterone booster from BSN, this is the only product I have not try it yet, and I am looking forward to use it but I have to wait until next month to get some cash because this fight stack cost around $150 - $160, and it last a month......well it depends if you use it every day or only the days you work out. Check out the online reviews you might like it. if you look for the best prices go to bodybuilding.com in this website you can look for it as fight stack BSN, or massnutrition.com in this one you have to look for the supplements by name, this 2 websites are the best, my MMA friends and I buy alot of supplements from these 2 places.

move bricks...i feel the same way...i think everyone is tired and once and a while needs a little boost, but training when your tired and beat requires mental toughness...everyone wants a quick fix or a crutch...have discipline..get to bed, eat right...there is not way jackd 3 is good for you in the long term....gotta be mentally tough and push through fatigue

i'd advise you to make a playlist of music that hypes you up to go work out bro.. that's the best thing.

it's found in scientific research that music can boost your workout performances up to 300%, think about it, what supplement can do that? find those adrenaline pumping tunes, slam them on your iPod and pump that iron!
