Odds of Winning First Amateur Fight?

I'm just curious from what you all have seen. What are the odds of someone winning their first amateur fight?

Basically, I'm new to the boxing scene, I'm 18, but I would watch it all the time when I was younger,

    I'm 6 foot and 135 pounds,

And I will not compromise, I'm going to eat the best, I'm going to train the best, every day I can (I understand you need time for rest)

From what you have seen from people who train hard, what are the odds of winning my first fight, and if I train hard, and don't compromise (not even for a second as far as randomly drinking a soda or anything) when do you think I should fight my first fight?

It is the thing with amature bouts. You never quite know who you are going to be facing.

Ah, so most, or all amateur fights are random?

You will normally face people from local clubs but when you get you an area lever in the USA it would be state then might start boxing people you know for example the area champion and you will get to know to local boxers along the way. Quite often in armature boxing you might face each other more than once but a lot of the bouts are random and you will have to adjust to beat them.

haha. 48% that it's random? Or good joke? Or are you actually seriously saying I have a slightly lesser chance of winning since it's my first fight?

I'm just curious. I mean, factor in my lack of experience, but also factor in my height and reach advantage, and the random factor

I am giving 48% to each fighter, and a 4% allowance for a draw.

It's more likely you will may lose than win, in my opinion. It depends who your up against I guess. The more experience fighter will most probably prevail if your just starting out, unless you have something about you.

Well technically your odds are about even seeing as you can win, lose, or draw. And as long as the guy your first fight is against is about as experienced as you, hten as long as you know what you are doing you have a good shot to win.

And if you wear Depends, it really lowers the probability of embarrassing yourself unnecessarily if things go really bad.
