What's your weight training regime? How many days a week do you lift weights, how many days rest do you have, whats you diet post/pre workout?

It varies how sore I am. I dont have a set schedule, but it looks somewhat like this...

-one day I do dips with 75lb dumbell attatched, pull ups with 75lbs, and bent over row with those same 75lb(hey, thats as much as Ive got).
-next day I will do high reps for shoulder press with dumbbells, shrugs, and punching movements with dumbbells.
-next day I will do some leg press with jumping exercises.

then I repeat. do a little bit of jump rope, abs and boxing specific exercises every day.

usually have a banana after a work out I know Ill be hurting from, since it helps the muscles not seize up and become stiff too bad.
peanut butter and honey sandwich before working out.

So you have no set schedule then. Don't you do alot of weight training etc dumbell curls, bench etc? And do you eat alot of junk?

And what about protien drinks pre & post work out. Most people say this will help muscle growth and will help repair muscles.

I dont see a point in dumbbell curls. Biceps are already synergists when Im doing bent over rows and pull ups.
bench Ill do occasionally if I feel up to it and have extra strength, but I put more emphasis on dips since they hit more muscles and I kind of want compound strength.

adding a lot of weight to body weight exercises is essentially weight training anyway.

I dont have the money nor the patience for protein drinks. I just eat meat and peanut butter, which will give me enough protein. Eggs+milk have basically every protein in existance when put together as well, so protein shakes seem superfluous.

Thats a interesting theory you have on protien shakes. How many days rest do you have?

two days is usually enough after a hard workout, might be less if I dont push it to the limit.

Although I dont have specific rest days, I just do whatever is feeling optimal at the time. usually work out in some way every day, even if briefly.

If you are looking for some supplements that help you out to work out, I can recommend you BSN, a lot of fighters from UFC use them, NO xplode(give you more energy), Cellmass(help you to recover faster) and Nitrix(help you out with the size).

kettlebells! I can't recommend them highly enough for explosive power. Train incredibly hard, box incredibly hard, run incredibly hard and eat, for the most part whatever I want best way I find. And I'm losing weight at a nice steady 1kg per week with 5 weeks til i fight and 4kg left to lose and I feel strong as hell, someones gettin knocked the f out!
