not if he's fat. he's pretty ****in old to turn pro if he's at all outta shape. ive seen a lot of dudes like this get annihilated. one guy barely made heavyweight, 209lbs or something and got ko 1'd against a dude who weighed 250-260. homie better be light, or you should be discouraging his ass beating.

it has nothing to do with weight. what youre talking about is weight difference. it doesnt matter how old you are or what your weight is. if you give up 60 pounds to anybody its not a good idea, period
besides most inexperienced pro boxers are just gloryfied amateurs. people act like every pro is like super talented or impossible to beat, when in reality there are a ****load of ****ty pro boxers out there that struggled @ the amateur level and still moved up. those are the guys he will be facing
so let him give it a shot. but "hes been on and off boxing the past 10 years" to me doesnt sound like hes really dedicated or takes it very serious. not sure why he wants to move upLast edited by Bullrush; 02-04-2011, 04:05 AM.

if he's some fat, undedicated **** he shouldnt turn pro. that's my point. theres worse pros than there are amateurs. if he's 29 and is off an on with his training, he is likely not in peak condition. if you are not in peak condition, you shouldnt put your head out there with a price on it. sounds like he's gonna be a ****in soupcan. end of conversation unless you wanna message me about it kid.

thats what we have weight classes for in every combat sport out there. to protect the heavier guys from smaller guys. you figured it out
look if he sucks he shouldnt turn pro period. has nothing to do with weight. if hes got skills he should turn pro, his weight doesnt matter. skill is more important than weight, go look at james toney. and again, he wont be fighting any hall of fame boxers, he will start fighting guys that are on his level, guys that moved up and have no experience. most of them are pretty bad
whatever
