  • lonsdale zero impact pads review

I just got these today, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised.they are somewhat large size in length n thickness, however they are pretty light for their size....these are also really the definition of air mitts.any squeeze of the mitts regardless of how deep produces a springy air current in the mitt, the air motion is similar to a squeeze toy.you can also squeeze these together almost to collapse, but surprisingly the impact of the punch must create a rebound bounce back effect that doesn't let the mitt collapse n protects against impact, even though u can pretty much flatten the mitt by a squeeze or wit a finger.

The hand compartment is pretty snug and stays on the hand well even without the wrist strap...while I would prefer the wrist strap hug ur wrist directly to the mitt, the strap literally wraps around the wrist n does surprisingly hold u into the hand compartment fairly well.....it does however feel a little flimsy and I wonder how long it will hold up in time?....

The quality of the leather and stitching is pretty good. Chairmanship is also good, except I'm worried bout the strap...but again the mitts perform well without it.

The balance on these feels pretty well but they seem better for straight punches.....when catching the hook it seemed like I had to reach out or cuff the pad in a little....other then that they were good.

I have been hesitant to try the Londsdale products out because I heard they are very similar to Everlast and I'm not a fan of Everlast.

I also don't like the straight mitts, prefer the curved ones.

        Good review though, thanks.
