    Jumping Rope

How much of it do you do?

do you do 3 minute rounds of rope jumping, with one minute breaks? i hear thats the best.... i dont know that i'll care to do more than 10 rounds...

    what are you thoughts/routines?

I do 6, 3 minute rounds with a 30 second break, which I sometimes fill with a few exercises such as Burpees/Squat Thrusts all the Ones that are good for cardio.
I also do 10 second "sprints" at the 1:00, 2:00 and 2:50 marks.
This is just a basic structure that I alternate a little ie: number of rounds.

the rope is my greatest exercise tool. i jump during breaks from distance runs, intervals and while waiting for public transportation. the problem now, though, is that i am getting older and my lower back really hurts during down time.

i do 15 minutes total. i take 1 minute breaks whenever i trip. usually works out to be about 3 minute rounds.

i love jumping rope for like the first minute-- after that it's so ***** boring.

30 minutes a time....I don't really do rounds although maybe I should, I'd probably benefit more from it rather than 30 minutes in one go
