  • If Winning gave you a $1,000 gift card

What would you be getting from them if you didn't have to pay for anything? I sold some of the stuff I had laying around here and since I don't have anything else right now to spend the money on I thought about upgrading all my gear with some quality stuff. I'm not gonna get anything from them again in the future, shipping is just too expensive. Now I don't know exactly what to get from them.

I was thinking about getting the FG 5000 headgear (facebar), the FG 2900 (mexican style), two MS 600 (16 oz gloves) and a no foul cup.

Now I'm not really sure about the FG 5000. I could basically get 2 more Gloves or 2 FG 2900 for that cash. Is the FG 5000 unnecessary?

Looking for some ideas and opinions! What's your favorite color? I love white and the white FG 5000 (ratethisgear had it in one of his vids) looks amazing, but he also says it gets dirty quick. Also would go all white, all black, all red or blue etc or get different colors? I don't want the white no foul cup or white gloves because they get dirty.

    Anyway let me know please

Why would you need 2 pair of gloves? One pair and the best headgear FG5000 is what I'd suggest.

Have the gloves (16oz) and there's no doubt that FG5000 is what I'll be wearing. Also because it's heavier than FG2900 which makes your neck muscles work more.

I prefer all black but if there was no black color I'd choose red....never the white one!

I also have their VL-B handwraps

I would definitely pick-up one of their headgears; however, I have not tried any of them out. I use the Everlast Safemax headgear which has been very good for me so far but i'm not sure if you can compare it to Winning since I would assume Winning's headgear to be lighter. As for their gloves, I would pick-up a pair of 16 oz for training and I would avoid getting white as well. I need to try some of their stuff out but the price on items & shipping seem pretty high.

the everlast safemax is awesome i have tried it on and watched some reviews on it. the bar sits a little bit low and the padding isnt as soft i think but overall its the closest one to the fg 5000 i think

white gloves look good for a few days then they get dirty and you kinda wish you went with blue/black or red or something like that

also does anybody know if winning does other colors as well? like the green ones that the pro's use? ive seen pacman & margarito use that gear. is it customized? if so why? if they can do yellow or blue why not just offer green or gold as well. and how much does that cost?

you can customize your colors, but you have to pay 15% more for that item. if you want the golden gear (marquez, DLH), let me know and I'll hook you up

Dude, don't get white- it's played out. Winning has red, yellow, black, blue, green, and custom colors but Mr. Kazumichi told me that the gold gear is only for world champions. As for the headgear, I prefer the FG-2900 over the FG-5000 because the facebar makes fighters lazy. They tend to avoid slipping and rolling because they're protected by the facebar. If you're going to spend that kind of money, get the whole outfit, rather than getting two pairs of gloves. You can always buy another brand of bag gloves, which you're going to use and wearout faster than the training gloves. As for color, I like the black and yellow, they looks sharp.

You could probably only get one glove of a pair with a thousand dollars....
