  • Glove choice advice

    I fractured my middle finger in a fight on thursday, im out for 6 -8 weeks apparently, but i was wondering if i should be wearing any particular size or make or glove for bag and pad work once im fighting fit again? Also any recovery tips?

    What part of your finger was fractured and did you have any pins?

      Well I hope you recover but you know this is hard to answer because it all depends on your recovery and when you start training and how you feel. Your just going to have to experiment with different gloves and find what you feel comfortable. Just take it easy when you get back training and build up. Good luck.

        Cheers man.

        Its the bit inbetween the knuckles nearest to the palm. My whole hands swollen tho its like something outta the Nutty Proffesor! Have to go back to hospital on Thursday to see if i need a pin in it or if its gonna heal its self

          You can wear 16 or even 18oz. If you've got the money go with Winning for max protection.

          Also, get a sponge and put it over your knuckles then wrap your hands over top of that. Just for a litle extra padding.
