Your defense is good, You just need to make your jabs snappy.( you do release them quick enough but can be better.

When you go for the body,You go so low. keep your left close to your face lest your opponent hit you with a hook.

But all in all you will go far with your boxing style.
thanks bro...this sure hypes me up for my goal to become national champion in brazil.

Very nice, especially for a first bout.

I agree, get that jab back to your guard faster.

At my gym we're taught to whip the jab back into guard right before it lands so that it "snaps" off the target instead of pushing through, like snapping a wet towel. It doesn't do as much damage but it is very fast, and it's hard to follow with a counter. And for your opponent, getting peppered with jabs that he can barely see and can't counter can make him hesitate just as much as getting smashed with a heavier jab.

Your coach may have a different strategy; follow what he says. However you use it, remember that the jab is king.

That's right,And jab is always a point accumulator in the amateur. the more jab you connect the more points you collect.

yo u look good for a 0-0 guy. everytime u missed u brought ur hands up high, thats really good... also i see ur footwork having a lot of potential.. so work on that in sparring and in training, in another 4-5 months, if u wanted, u could prolly make guys chase u around making it real hard to hit u... if u want of corse.. but hey the more tricks u can learn the better right...

keep up the fighting, stay busy.
