  • What to eat on fight day

    I´m fighting Saturday night.

    What should I eat/drink on the day of the fight?

    Should I train harder during the weak or start slowing down untill the fight?

    The week of the fight, slow down on the sparring, just do more cardio and shadow boxing, anything to avoid injury,

    If you're weighing in that day, just have something light to keep you from hunger pains, like a yogurt and a banana, or some oatmeal, or granola bars, after the weigh in, you can have something a little heavier, but not too unhealthy, you'll get stomach aches if you pig out,

    stick to drinking water and snacking lightly until a couple hours before the fight and you'll be fine, trust me, eating will be the last thing on your mind on fight day anyway, lol..good luck

      Eat as many carbs are you can without getting sick.

      Pasta, rice, potato, etc...

        one of my friend swears by subway.

        ill either eat:
        -standard breakfast out
        - eggs, oatmeal, fruit
        - lasagna is reallly good
        fruit etc
        and i drink chamomile tea... never coffee before a fight. dont let yourself get full at your first meal after weigh in or you wont feel normal again. i ate sooo much in my first few fights that id come into the ring super ****ed up, still didnt lose tho haha.
        i find i fight the best if im a big hungry.

          I weigh in then drink pedialyte and a banana.... I also go into the fight a bit hungry makes me a bit agressive. But i have a good clean meal, yams,pasta,lean meat.

                Pedialyte is basically electrolytes, some people can't stand the taste tho..so Gatorade is a decent alternative, just don't over do the Gatorade before the fight, it'll make u want to pee really bad..stick mainly to water
