    train and run a week?

    I'm a novice amateur boxer but when I prepare for fights I try to run 3 times a week in the morning and train 6 days a week in the gym at night.

      Better boxing training early am!remember cycling 7 miles days u don't run!

        When I'm training, it's a gym workout for 3-4 hours 5-6 days a week, and a run when I get time/feel up to it. Usually 3x/week, mornings.

        This time around, I'll be in the gym 2-5x per week and running 5-6x per week, mornings. I want to increase the running relative to the gymwork, which is generally the wrong thing to do, but for my current situation and style I think it's the right move.

          i go to the gym about 4 times a week but i excercise about 5-6 days a week..

            I practice my boxing about 4 times a week. I don't run (yet) I just jumprope and exert all my energy in my practicing. I do bursts of shadowboxing for 30 seconds inbetween each set.
