anybody here can atest benefits of plyo workouts?

    Keep in mind though that plyometrics should be "underload" training. True plyometric activity should not be done to the point of cardiovascular fatigue, or you'll lose much of their benefits. They should be done explosively; it's hard to be explosive when you're sucking wind.

    They are great to incorporate (I wouldn't say that they're "essential" as someone else stated), but just understand that plyometrics are a very specific type of activity.

      Go to Ross Training. They have a lot of good videos of plyo workouts that you can do and they have them according to what part of your body you want to work on whether it's your upper or lower body. I use plyo drills on the kids I train and I can see the benefits.
