Floyd can eat whatever he wants and still be the boxer he is because of his genetics. Some people don't even need to work out and they have muscles and a six pack. Genetics have a lot to do with it.

How did you diet when you did MMA ?

I suggest to eat six small meals a day. That'll keep your metabolism working and it's the best way to absorb nutrition from food you eat. Don't ever eat to stuff your self because you waste a lot of nutrition, your body can't absorb all that at one time. Try to get protein in each meal. Your body can only intake 20 something grams of protein at one time. So with six meals a day it makes sense. If you use any protein shakes or supplements don't get caught up when the container says to take 60 grams of protein. Your just gonna piss most of it out and they only do that so you run out faster and you keep buying more. That's how they make money.

Other than eating good you gotta work out correctly. Boxing is way harder than just doing a work out in the fitness gym. But keep on doing it and your conditioning will get better over time. Make your own regimen when you go to the gym. But the best way in my opinion is to spar. Spar and it'll get you in fighting shape.

You got some people that "look in shape" because they go to the fitness gym and they only work out for looks. But some people that go there are really in shape and work out correctly. I use to go to the fitness gym and it's pretty nice. Then you have people that are in "boxing shape" which in my opinion is on another level. It's all on a persons definition of what they think "being in shape" is.
