  • Haven't been for a run in 3 weeks

    I was preparing for a tournament which was last weekend, and I stopped running about 9-10 days before. I usually would wait a few days later to cut down, but I was feeling very fatigued and had no trouble with the weight so I stopped running then.
    After that I had a fight scheduled for the next weekend (this past saturday). Seeing as there was barely a week between the fights I didn't run the whole week and just fought the Saturday.

    Anyway, do you guys think my fitness would still be good, because I have fought 3 times in the past week? Or do you think my legs would have lost some conditioning?

    maybe a little but not a huge amount if you are still active. if you did nothing for 3 weeks then maybe

      well depends on what else u do except running and sparring to keep your cardio and conditioning up? if you keep the high intensity drills and such, then you're good.

      but then again, i've never done any fights, just sparring with some pro's. it's just what i know from experience when i stop running.
