if you want tough skin soak your hands in brine.

are you kidding who told you it makes your knuckles harder, properly wrapped hands should be a priority when it comes to boxing,at no time should a boxer hit th ebag heavy or speed without hand wraps and boxing gloves

Hitting the heavy bag without wraps is for noobs.

I hit blocks of different materials like the bonus game in Mortal Kombat. Wood and stone break too easy, steel is good for people under 150lbs. I do 3 rounds on a block of ruby.

My knuckles are so much harder now.

You do know that wearing gloves will still build calluses on your hands and give you tougher skin over time ?, doing it bare handed is just silly and will increase chances of damaging your hands.

I would never even punch it without handwraps, let alone bare-knuckled. I wear gloves in competition, so why do I need calloused knuckles? Makes no sense.

                    Hmm...

I'd rather not injure my hands.

                    No thanks.
