How do i know if my handwraps are on tight enough? Should you be able to bend your wrists once the handwraps are on? I know your thumb should still be able to move and you should be able to make a fist, even if its not a tight fist.

I basically just wrap it around my wrist, then knuckles, palm, and then thumb and back around my wrist.

The Wrap is too tight when you feel numbness in your hands, too loose when the wrap is falling apart.

Thanks for replies, ive seen youtube vids. But what it dont show is how tight they should be, or if they are able to bend the hand once its on! Bend the wrist, or move the hand at the wrist is what i want to know really.

I doubt the wrap would come off once in the gloves.

your wraps should be put on properly to ensure the best fist and wrist protection,i think that when you have the feel and when the hands feel comfortable you will be able to tell that the wraps are applied the way you want them to be,remember not to snug and not to loose,

Everybody does them differently because everyone is different. Hit the heavy bag. If your wrist hurts, you probably did them wrong. If your hands go numb, you probably did them wrong.

If you feel no pain, then I would go with that level of tightness.

Tell me about it. Some people put the wrap between their fingers. That seems to much trouble for me. I only wrap around the knuckles.

But i wrap my hand until i can barely move my hand now, because otherwise i dont see the point.
