lol that vid was funny. dont listen to them of course boxing defense could help u in some aspects of street fighting. 9 times out of 10 all u gotta do is hit the guy once and he'll be done.

Replies appreciated. I will continue to practice raising my left hand to protect my head with the confidence it works.
yep. Jab - jab - cross. Throw them straight. Sometimes I like to throw the first one out slow and then **** out the second one and throw the cross directly after. So as to hide the right hand coming. It's easy work for some ******* who is just trying to pick a fight with you. But always, as you know, keep your hands up. ALWAYS. I have seen guys outboxing guys in street fights and then get hit with haymakers and literally start to convulse.

The best thing to do is to try and stay away from street fights now-a-days.

dont think about fight, always Hit first
why wouldn't you? he was asking about boxing and how it pertained to street fighting. Most street fighters, especially angry ones, can't throw or even see straight punches coming. Basic combo's work. Why diverge from them if that's what you know?

i havent read through this thread so if anybody else has said this.... w.e

when ur a boxer, practicing things in the gym for a while.. it becomes 2nd nature

if you were to fight on the street, u wouldnt think about tucking your chin in while throwing or pivoting off the back foot while throwing a back hand.. its becomes natural

if your a boxer and facing against someone who isnt a trained fighter on the street.. u have major advantage

every fighter on here no this if they have fought on the road but when it gets in to grappling n foot lock or some crap thats a different matter.. one on one trust me, boxers dominate unless weight heigh etc but u know

What part of someones head should you aim for to aviud injury to your hand or wrist, I know the Forehead is a No-No but what about underneath it, if I punched someone around the Cheekbone/Nose would my hand be alright?

But parries with your hand in streetfights arent to clever cos u might get your hand busted. Interesting.
yea what he's saying is if u keep em close like we do in sparring it wouldn't work because there is no gloves and his punches are very likely to make there way through to our face..I mean if he's swinging at you ,you gotta either block it with ur hand or head..i don't believe in too much head movements on the street.
