Olympic lifts!
Olympic lifts will help you with core strength and explosiveness while at the same time target all the major muscle groups.
Get a REAL strength coach invest the money and be taught proper techniques. Not some idiot from the local gym either a professional with a science background and experience in the sport of boxing.
A proper program should run you a fair chunk of change but you get what you pay for.
A strength coach can assess the best way for you to get from where you are to where you want to go.
Check out physicalprep.ca if you're interested those guys help a lot of professional atheletes.

Your rep scheme should be classic 5X5 since you are not gonna do that much weight anyway.
When you progress with weight, you can move to heavy triples and doubles.
I'd recommend standing overhead press or push presses too.
BrooklynBomber preaches the truth!!!

you need to be at a caloric surplus to gain weight.
so if you are taking in less calories than your maintenance, you can forget gaining weight.
starting strength is a good idea, power cleans will help with explosiveness.
