i just bought a heavy bag and speed bag and need to know what kind of gloves and wraps i need. im not fighting just trying to stay in shape ina fun way. also any special workouts i could be doing.

you dont have to get the best gloves get a pair that are good fitting and feel comfortable,the wraps get the standard wraps,when you start hitting the bag you dont want to start swinging wildly so i suggest shadow box in front of a mirror for a while and just practice throwing combinations

For hand wraps i suggest you get mexican style hand wraps, they are strechy and offer better protection. Get the longest ones you can.

Check out some youtube videos for some ideas on how to wrap your hands.

As far as gloves it really depends on the money you want to spend and what king of gloves you want. For optimum protection you should get real bag gloves but you won't get anything decent for under 80$.

Quite sure you're not supposed to use gloves on a speed-bag but get a long set of hand wraps and get a pair of gloves for the heavy bag that feels comfortable to you rather than "super durable". Gloves durability usually only causes you mis-fits if inexperienced.

They make "speed bag gloves" although most people find them to bulky and hard to accurately hit a speed bag with.

Use regular style handwraps...it's all you need.
