    During my training sessions, I tend to feel pain in lower back and spine which I can ignore but sometimes it's too much where it screws up my head/waist movement.

    I'm thinking it's because since I'm an infighter, I'm always leaning forward and using head/waist movement. Could it be technique?

    From experience it seems as though you are suffering from sciatica. This refers to a pain, injury, or compression of the sciatic nerve. Check the symptoms out online for sciatica and see if they match-up with any of your symptoms.

      sciatica is actually a symptom too. you feel this sciatica if u have the like od spinal injury like degenerative disk disease, spondylitis, SI joint *********** etc.

      as for me i have this SI *********** due to twisted pelvis (got from training too) thats why my running and training has limitations.

          try to do this stretch after every work out (learnt it from one of my boxing trainers):

          stand straight, legs apart 1,5 to twice shoulder width.

          then lean forward and grab towards ur ankles and crawl with ur hands downwards as far as u can and then hold.

          u r supposed to feel a freeing feeling on ur lower back. stretching ur lower back muscles.

            spine injury sometimes manifests even in ur legs.

            can u sit for a long time without straining?

            btw, before the doctor diagnosed my injury in lower back, the symptoms i felt were hamstring strain, a bit of tendonitis, etc, which i thought then was my leg/knee injury. after i did the theraphy they gave me, i felt the pain in my lower back but less of the pain in legs (w/c i think is called decentralization). now, i dont feel any pain anymore although i ve to limit my physical activities that might return to my previous injury.

              I have a degenerative disc that's also bulging. It sucks man big time. If your only feeling it from training though, you'll probably be alright. You should do a lot of stretching, and also build up your core muscles big time doing both basic exercise along with physical therapy exercises. You can look these up on WebMD and google it.

                Bro i think it's quite simple. Many people get a pain in their lower back after a lot sport. The simple reason being that the lower back is rarely stretched and worked out. Just like the other areas of your body you need to build it up/strengthen as well otherwise you will be out of proportion. When you work out, make sure you do some lower back exercises and stretch the area before you play sport.

                  I used to have this problem.

                  It seemed to go away when creating a habbit of not bending at the waist too much, and using your legs/knees to do most of the work for bending.

                    Hmm physical therapy is good for these issues but its quite lengthy treatment and usually boxers dont have the enough time for this treatment thats y they used some temporary things...............
