like a tire leaking air or a soda can being opened noise? No. I breath very calmly in a relaxed manner no different then any other way i would breath. some times i might do a little grunt like 3 or 4 swings into a combo then throw another 3 or 4 and do another grunt but thats about it for noise.

Plenty of people do it. Listen to Pacquiao when he does mitt work "ah ah ah ah AH!". Why not? Good for rhythm and breathing. Did your coach say why he thought it was a bad habit?

I breath out, how loudly depending on my level of exertion, but usually not very loud.

The screamers are kind of annoying, like they are fighting for their life against a rapist in a dark alley or some ****.

it depends, usually I breath out quietely, but last twenty seconds of intense mit work, I usually growl.

Well when I first start training I do a little hiss.

Then when I'm exhausted I started growling.

Why do you think it's a bad habit to let air out?
