  • Feel like ****..

    Good afternoon everyone,

Weighed myself on Friday morning as soon as I woke up and took a piss and I was 158.0lbs, which was great. I am 6 foot tall by the way, and looking to cut down to around 156lbs. I have been losing weight in a slow but consistant manner since the turn of the year, however it is becoming increasingly difficult as I have very little fat left to lose.

However, had a very bad weekend in terms of eating - got a severe dose of the 'munchies' and didn't stop until late last night (Monday).

Weighed myself this morning after a piss and I was 164.5lbs. Therefore I have put on 6.5lbs in 4 (FOUR!) days. I am now sitting in work feeling sluggish and like ****.

As of today, I am cleaning my diet up again and going on the straight and narrow.

I am sure there are others who have been in this situation before, and I just thought I would share my feelings!

You tried this man .It says 2 to 3 on the pack but for training work and stuff I read a couple of hundered mils is good .It's only pure caffeine .50 mil per tab = 1 cup of coffee .I've used it for training and driving it's good

It's good for when tired and sluggish .You can buy it in most petrol stations and that man ,tescos etc also drink plenty of water that helps man .I read some boxers drink up to 8 litres a day mate .It helps when sluggish .
You going to boxing tonight mate ? Probably see you there if you are man .What sort of stuff we doing for the pre-season ?

I've been drinking plenty of water mate, as usual. I usually drink around 5 litres per day.

Giving boxing a miss tonight. I am going to go out and do some roadwork. The normal sessions start back on Thursday anyway for pre-season. I've been doing some extra padwork recently to imrpove speed and co-ordination.

We will be doing plenty of roadwork and hills during pre-season mate, and also plenty sparring. Looking forward to seeing you back. Make sure you get yourself some good sparring.

The lads who go for fitness is 6.30 to 7.30, and then the boxers is from 7.30 to 9.

I think I will do the double session on Thursday though.

How much did you eat!? You couldn't possibly put on 6.5lbs of fat without eating atleast the 6.5lbs of food. Saying that - you'll have had to eat more, because you'd have burnt a lot of the food off. So it is unlikely, unless you really have been hammering the McDonalds that you're doing anything other than retaining water and ****.

Though you will have put a little weight on but not as much as the scales say.

A lot of that might well be water weight. And why areyou getting so bummed and upset about putting on a few pounds?

Why do you want to weigh so little? especially for someone who's 6 feet tall.

                  At 158lbs on Friday morning, I was 11 stone 4lbs. Ideally, I'd like to cut down to 156lbs (71kg, 11 stone 2lbs).

At 6 foot, I have an advantage against my opponents because of my long reach and I am also very fit due to training 5/6 times per week.

I find it easier to cut weight and fight, rather than putting on a few pounds of muscle and moving up a weight class.

Also, I am pretty thin yes, but not to the extent that it looks bad. I am toned and carry very little fat.

I'm the opposite mate .I find it easier to move up one or 2 weight classes .My weight ain't good but I look at the big WW's for morale man like Cotto .Cotto's supposed to walk around 170 .I was 170 last year onced mate was raging man 5.8 as well .That's sort of my tale of the tape similar to Cotto. See my strength vid man ?

If I was you I would defintley watch a bit of Tommy Hearns or something man for morale .The thing is tho he won belts right up to cruiserweight but in his prime man destroys any welterweight today .
