    Tire dragging

So I just ran around my block twice (about 0.5 miles) with a tire roped to my waist. My legs and lungs are burning like a motherfu- should I go on with this?

    No?

do multiple reps of short sprints like 50 or 100 meters. the tire/parachute/sled mainly helps with acceleration so really the only time where they provide an advantage is during that short time from when your stopped till your running full speed.

Are you a boxer or a full back? If you just wanna work out go for it.

Neither, though I do plan on joining a boxing gym soon.

That kind of training usually gives negative results.. Try getting some leg/vest weights, ALOT more convenient and very effective if used right.
