wrong... if you aren't mentally prepared in the ring... then your chances of getting KO'd is very likely to happen.

Many of his battles are even commemorated by stone plaques in Japan where the duel actually happened.

He actually lived the rest of his older life in this small village in Japan where he decided to write this book after converting to Buddhism I believe it was. He would climb the side of this mountain everyday to this cave where he would sit for hours and then write the book.

The book is separated into 5 chapters, The Earth, Wind, Water, Fire and The Void or Nothingness.

It's not an easy read in the sense that it takes some time to truly understand his metaphors and what he's talking about and how to relate it to real life or current life as we know it.

It's a short book though but I have read it like 10 times trying to understand what he was talking about, especially the last chapter.
correct.. there are many documentations and recordings.. and evidence that musashi was the real deal... he also would use a wooden sword in his duels, just to make it more challenging, and he would still defeat his opponet....

      a legendary warrior... he is

You have a lot of growing up to do young grasshopper.

The mind is in control of the body, not the other way around. Fear and emotion can affect your performance physically and if you learn to control those, you will be more successful.

Definitely a must read. In this same genre are the books:

The Art of War written by Sun Tzu make sure you have a translation that has some of Sun Pin's works. In some translations they will have parts of both works which were both called The Art of War but Sun Pin's work is often referred to as military strategy or art of warfare to avoid confusion.

            The Prince by Machiavelli

            Hagakure, very interesting.

On War, by Carl Von Clausewitz

I tried reading The Prince... I got the initial concept in the first chapter, but yeah. The way its written I need to really sit down and concentrate... maybe its just me.

I read the Art of War... great book on deception.
