If you know how to jump rope, you shouldn't have a problem with your knees.

Most people land with their heel first when running or jumping, if you land on the ball of your feet, like you are taught in boxing, it will eliminate the impact on your knees, hips and ankles.

I can't run for a very long distance, I can go about 4 miles tops because of my bum left knee but I can jump rope for days because of the difference in impact.

Jumping rope IMO is the best cardio you can do. It will work you out like you won't believe.

I thinkk, at least what I meant was, I know longer have the issues that I had simply because I have changed the surfaces that I am training on. Not that my knees are fixed.
