    Can anyone give me a good workout regime to start I am going to join a boxing gym in January and start training for the Chicago Golden Gloves 2013.
    Thanks for the help.

    Can't you start any sooner than January? I don't know what your situation is but even if you could only make it to the gym 2-3 nights a week, that's better than nothing.

      I want to start working out for about 5 months before I go to the gym because if I went now I would get rocked and gassed fast.

        go to a gym and gert in shape there. they got all the answers to ur questions.

          you dont have to spar immediatly when you join the gym..they have great workout routines for begginers

                  The shape you get in from sparring is WAY better then anything else. Start doing some running rutines twice a week, then mabye 3-4 in a month or two.

                    when u first go there, learn to box and everything else will come as u go along

                    its all personal experience
