How and When do you throw an uppercut vs a shorter opponent ?? Any situations ^_^

I think the uppercut is one of the better punches to throw against a shorter opponent. Much the way Margarito did vs Cotto.

You can get more leverage and don't have to extend as much coming up. You can also throw it from a farther distance. The only thing is, you leave yourself open to counter hooks.

a taller fighter can uppercut anyone, just catch the short guy coming in.

For me its more circumstantial I have to be inside and wait for the guy to lean forward or I hit his chest instead
