so you're running 6.25 miles at an average speed of 6.30 a mile?

its pretty likely that he can actually do that, averaging a little less then 10mph over 6.2 miles a few times isnt all that impressive given a year or so of training.

id wait till he claims hes doing it everyday before you call bull****.

I do 10KM in 40 mins too!! The local elite where I live do it in 34 mins so I'm hardly amazing.

I'm about 160Lbs...... this sort of time may well be tough for heavier guys though. I might well scratch a much better time if I slimmed down to 147Lbs for example.

Well i'm sorry for not being at your level yet but you know i cant just start running like a horse from the getgo. I was asking if that was a good time for an intermediate, not a beginner but also not an elite...
Don't worry. You should get there fast, or atleast around the 45-50 minutes on a 10km run. Just find a good program and stick by it. I'm on our national team, we run three times a week and got a nutritionist and personal trainer in our area, so I won't compare times. Just telling you that, this is a VERY VERY good time for a boxer.

that's almost exactly what I do, but I'm a hair faster.
