ringside, make sure its ringside. the heavier the bag the harder tomove and helps you with your power. but the lighterthe more it swings which can help you with body moving and footwork

This IMO is the best bag you can buy. Its heavy and gives you angles.

I don't know bro. I personally think it sucks. I could be wrong but it's not steady enough to withstand your power nor is it light enough to swing and practice your footwork. IMO

maybe the double-hanging BOB doll will work better?

i thought he was talking about a heavy bag. if your not talking about a heavy bag, buy a double end bag they are the best for training. most complicated bag and will work you well.

I just assumed he wanted any type of bag as long as it was good.

I just dont use the heavy bag as much as i did, i only use it for body shots, it doesnt give me the right angles because i like to throw a lot of uppercuts.

I kinda like wailin' on ol' BOB. But then, my first ex-wife's husband is named Bob, so that may make me a bit prejudiced. LOL!

haha...I agree that any of these "freestanding" bags dont react like a human being would(like a real hanging bag), but because it is in the shape of an entire torso, I find it really useful to improve my range and punch accuracy.
