Good stuff. I assume your using the protein products. Good stuff. I personally hate the taste of it but hey, when your working your muscle to the last fiber, it's great for recovery and with specific exercises you can build muscle mass(if wanted).

Muscle Milk is more of a Meal Replacement Shake given the amount of calories, fat, fiber carbs. It's not a bad product, but there is better stuff out there, and it all depends on what you want to get out of it.

The reason Muscle Milk is so popular especially among kids and noob weight lifters is because it tastes good and most are too much of a pansy to ingest anything that doesn't taste like it's loaded with sugar.

The people at the store might be trying to hawk their ****, you'll find the same thing happen when you go into GNC. Muscle Milk isn't complete junk, but it's not all that amazing either.

Personally, I would stay away from MuscleMilk, MuscleTech & BSN products. They're all hype jobs, so they can pay for those advertisements that you see in muscle magazines. That's why the majority of they're stuff is expensive. Added to that, the stuff they use to make they're products, are cheap and inferrior to some other brands. The bigger the company means that alot of the time, the worst they're products are for you.

There are 4 (that I have found) proteins on the market today that far exceed anything else out there: Isoflex & IsoNatural from Allmax Nutrition. Isoflex is 90% whey Isolate protein per scoop, and IsoNatural is 93% Isolate per scoop. Plus both have a very good amino acid profile. The other two are WPI from Bioplex and Pure Whey Isolate from Sports One Nutrition. Both are isolates and are 88 to 90% pure protein.

All need to do some research on they're own, and don't always take what these people in these stores say, as gospel.

I have a good friend who is a personal trainer and really into suplements and he told me never to buy muscle milk. He did not rate it. He likes Syntha 6.

Syntha-6 is a BSN Protein powder. Some look at it more as a meal replacement, then a straight protein drink. Still, it has about 44% grams protein concentrate in it, per scoop. That's not good at all. On average you want at least 75-80%, and that's a whey isolate, not a concentrate. Alot of people like this for the same reason they like Musclemilk, because of the taste. The stuff is loaded with cholesterol.

There's a lot better stuff out there. I've never been much a fan of musclemilk. Like a previous poster, you want something along the lines of a WPI, like a Bioplex Pure WPI, or Isoflex. Currently, I'm using Myofusion and it has good profile for what I'm trying to do.
