I usually try to go 45% for both Carbs and Protein with 10% fats.

5 to 3 to 1. 5 grams of carbs for every three grams of proteing for every one gram of fat. This is a classic proportion,.

            Per calories.

So if you ate 2500 calories a day, 50/25/25 would look like

            50% of 2500 = 1250 cals of carbs, divided by 4 = 312 grams of carbs

            25% of 2500 = 625 cals of protein, divided by 4 = 156 grams of protein

            25% of 2500 = 625 cals of fat, divided by 9 = 69 grams of fat

if you did 45/45/10 it would look like

            45% of 2500 = 1125 cals for carbs, divided by 4 = 281 grams of carbs

            45% of 2500 = 1125 cals for protein, divided by 4 = 281 grams of protein

            10% of 2500 = 250 cals for fat, divided by 9 = 28 grams of fat
