Well, I haven't tried out all brands yet, but I am one of the few Everlast-fans.
One of the first gloves I had were cheap Everlast Pro Style, 30 Euro - around 40 Dollar, and they lasted me almost 2 years before the padding started to look rather ****ty, I think that's tremendous value since I used them non-stop for everything including bag and mitts.

At the moment, even though my Everlast Fighter (I don't think they sell them anymore, but they are rather low end too with around 50 Euro, 65 Dollars) broke down pretty fast after a few months (a seam opened up, but that's the risk with low end products), I absolutey love my Protex 3 (leather).

I also like Grant. I only have the cheaper Campeon-line, but I really like them for heavy gloves and I can only imagine how good the better Grant gloves are since I heard a lot about the big difference in quality.

Winning are just too expensive, although I'd like to try them, and Reyes are nothing I would use. It would be a waste to ruin them on the bag and quite a disgrace to use punchers gloves in sparring, in my opinion.

The brand I'll try out next will probably be Fighting, heard a few good things.

thanks for this, i agree with you about the winning and reyes gloves, they are very expensive but then again so are the good grants and some everlast gloves.

i would probably use them for everything from bag to sparring, i was thinking about getting the grant pro training gloves but i dont want to ruin them with 6 months. at the moment i have some really cheap lonsdale fight gloves and i use them for everything, they have a split down the side now and when i hit the bag with them bits of whatever is inside them comes out.

i would buy them off of ebay but you never know if they going to be in great condition and that is a lot of money that you could be wasting on gloves that you could have got from sugarrays or ringside. i have seen a pair of yellow winning fight gloves for £100 and in the picture they didnt look to bad, i just wouldnt like having second hand gloves.

the reyes training gloves have the same type of padding that most gloves out there have now, theres not a big difference really. were not talking about horse hair here. they are pretty similar to the grants actually if you ever compared them as far as padding & quality

Lol, Reyes are the most uncomfortable gloves available. Well the training ones, I have never tried the actual fight gloves.

I just recently bought some Grant's and seem to be one of the few guys on here who hasn't been totally impressed with them, which sucks cause they were expensive and I totally wanted to be impressed with them. Oddly enough, the gloves I prefer the most have been my Everlast pro training gloves. They fit my hands the best and I like way they form to my knuckles where the Grants seem to have extra space around the knuckle area which I don't like. Admittedly, the Grant's wrist support is phenomenal but the knuckle area on them rub me the wrong way. I'll only use them for sparring because they don't feel good when I hit the bags and whatnot. I am surprised that I like the Everlast gloves the most but to me personally they feel the most comfortable.
