    if your a boxer

    I heard boxers dont do weight training but what about using weights with ur legs

    would it help strengthen taking shots, balance and lasting longer in a fight?

    i heard when khan went with roach, roach had him build all his lower body

    if you want to gain muscle on your legs and get heavier beacause of that then yes.. if not don't

      you can lift weights for upperbody as well just not a bodybuilding type routine. big compound lifts that hit the most muscles each. you would do yourself a huge huge favor to at least start doing squats, deadlifts, and cleans.

        and heavy weight for low reps all the way. alot of people on here know jack **** about s/c for boxing. everything else you do for boxing, endless rounds of punches, high rep ****, pushup, pullups and all bw stuff is all high rep. so what is the point of being in the weight room and training these same attributes. work on lifting explosivley at all time.
