So many people train their asses off but never end up a champion. Why is this? Do elite boxers just train out of this world? Is it because they started younger? or is it because they were destined and born to box?

Why can't everyone become a Boxing Champion?

Not everyone was meant to be a champion.
I personally chalk it up to carefull career management. If you can get the right fights, you will more than likely make it to the champion stage.
You also need to be patient. Look at Paulie Malignaggi, just patient as hell and he got his turn and got his title. Took a while but if you ask him, I bet he will say it was more than worth the wait.

I guess that for the champions out there things click a lot more than for the others. Leaving aside the proper genes needed for the sport of boxing, the importance of nutrition, the difficult training, not losing motivation, having a proper enviroment to get better at what you love, putting heart into it day by day...you got yourself left with luck and hazard that sometimes works for you, a lot more I'd say for the best boxers in the sport.

i think its a mix between talent (something you are born with) and doing a lot of sports at a very young age (like 5 or so). by the time you hit 15 all that stuff becomes 2nd nature to you, you know your body real well, you know how to use all the muscles and how to move etc. you can just pick things up by watching other people do it. some guys the first time they hit the gym they already look like they have been boxing for a year or so. they already have all the mechanics down, the footwork, head movement, how to block shots and fake shots and land shots etc. just by watching other people box. they pick things up very quick and those are the guys that can develop into champions if they have the drive/desire to become a champ and if they put in the work.
talent only takes you so far

To be honest i was like that when i started boxing but i feel that i have some quit in me. I mean i have a lot of depressions and suicidal thoughts. Plus i'm not very confident.
I just lost a fight i was winning because i lost my composure and got DQ'd.
I think a confident talentless hardworker can go pretty far in this game.

* Follow their training plan
* Have a good diet
* Genetics
