use a neck developer if your gym has one... It wont take away the head aches, but itll help you take the punch better, and help your head from getting batted around like a bobblehead doll.. Therefore it could help lessen the chance of a headache...

there are various neck exercises u can do.

sparr alot to get used taking a punch, which is a skill. keep your chin down, eyes on your oponent at all times and roll with the punches. always stay relaxed.

also make sure u are never dehydrated when u box, the protective barrier or what u want to call it between your brain and your skull is water and when u get dehydrated u will have less protection.

also make sure to be in good shape, obviously u cant stay in fighting shape year round for the purpose of sparring, but dont let yourself slide and get way out of shape eighter. your fitness level decides how quick u recover from a punch.

                ^^^that

Relax a bit when taking punches and always if possible roll with them. It takes a lot of their power away. Ofcourse once in a while you'll end up walking into one but the seldom that happens the better.

It's a really simple exercise. You can do it any time but most people find it to be most effective when done actually during sparring.

Raise your hands higher so they protect your face better. Then you won't get hit as much.
