nice home gym. but your hands drop when your throwing punches, noticable when throwing combos. it happens to me alot after a long training session aswell. just imo.Comment

Ive been going a few times a week for the past month or so, and I used to learn/spar with my uncle and his kids cuz he had a gym, but ive never fought or anything in the ams yet, I am planning too start going daily within the next few months but atm I am trying to put on more muscle so I'll have to lose less fat when its time to cut, and so I can have more power... so Ive just been hitting the weights real hard, hitting the heavybag at home, and sparring with my buddies that are boxers, and getting my ass kicked, but getting better everytime...
And yeah the home gym is great I dont know what id do without it, got weights, bench, barbell, e-z bar, heavybag, been meaning to put up the speedbag for a while now im gonna do that soon lol.Comment

you need to work on your head movement before and after punching, and more leverage on power punched aka- use your body aswell like mike tyson did. and return your hands to your gaurd quicker.Comment

I usually am alright about keepin the hands up... But I do need to work on proper footwork and that's why im having trouble putting leverage into my hooks and power punches.. I used to be alright with that but a few years of not practicing any fundamentals and smoking alot of grass/drinking alot of alcohol has set me back, like I need to learn the basics of footwork and pivoting and even jab all over again... Once I can start hitting a gym regularly in the next few months itll come back to meComment

Although I'm light years from being anywhere near good in boxing, I can give you the same advice I got from my coach last week
Your punches sometimes "stick" to the bag. Try going back to the guard immediatly after impact.
And keep up the good work man, ignore all the trash talking.Comment

Why do people insist on putting put videos of themselves but also make comments of excuse(s)? Not just you but I've seen many on here who are bad and good.
I totally understand if you want some constructive criticism so you can leave the excuses at the door. Even when you're tired as hell you know you are doing well when your technique is still there.
At our gym we run and do body weight workouts before we hit the mitts and bag to test ourselves like going into the later rounds.
All I have to say is keep it up because its better then nothing. Repetition bud!Comment
