  • amateur boxing weight classes

    does anyone know the specific weight classes? cause i have fought at 152 that welter weight and is that from 152 to 165? cause 165 is middle weight? thats like a 13 lbs gap am i missing something thanks everyone for the help

        Yeah that gap between 152 and 165 sucks...especially for me since I'm 160 with like no fat. Too big for 152 but too small for 165.

          lol no **** scott it's wild right? thats what i thought on my second fight. but my problem was trying to hang out in a weight class i didnt belong in. i fight at 165 now i use to fight at 152

            I've got the same problem .I'm 160 at 8 percent bodyfat .I'm trying to get down to 5 percent and when I do if I can't make WW I was thinking about trying something like this and go up to 165 .

              thats what i am doing alza i just hit the gym up a lil more and put on like 10 lbs i walk around at 162 i want to fight at 165 so i need a lil more but honestly i feel stronger and believe it or not fast like more endurance
